Service Engineer -After sales

Job Description

Provide on-site or remote technical support to customers post-installation.
Attend to service requests, complaints, and warranty issues related to auto components (mechanical or electromechanical).
Diagnose problems, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest or implement corrective actions.
Perform installations, adjustments, and preventive maintenance at customer locations.
Coordinate with the internal quality and production teams for issue resolution and feedback loops.
Maintain detailed records of service reports, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
Train customer technicians/operators on proper usage, handling, and maintenance of components.
Assist in creating service documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.
Represent the company during customer audits, field trials, or technical evaluations.
Travel to customer sites (domestic/regional) as required.

Other Details

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Familiarity with OEM sales cycles, government procurement processes, and fleet operations is a strong advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand technical products and articulate their value.
Willingness to travel across assigned regions.
