Responsible for designing clutches that are reliable, durable, and efficient, ensuring they can handle high torque and stress in heavy-duty machinery.
Use CAD software (like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) to create detailed 3D models of clutch components and assemblies.
Proficient in DFM, DFA, DFMEA, GD&T, IS standard & APQP, IATF 16949 Documentation.
Choose materials that can withstand harsh conditions and heavy loads, like high-strength steels or advanced composites for friction plates and other clutch components.
Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure that designs are cost-effective to produce and can be manufactured efficiently.
Strong experience in designing and developing single, dual, double, NEC, NDC clutches for tractors.
Expected to have basic knowledge of CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) and boundary conditions.
