Job Description

1. Leadership and Management:
   • Lead and supervise the tool room team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
   • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
2. Tool Room Operations:
   • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
   • Ensure timely and accurate production of tools to meet manufacturing schedules and quality standards.
   • Implement and maintain best practices for tool room processes, including CNC programming, machining, and tool assembly.
3. Quality Assurance:
   • Establish and enforce quality control standards for all tooling and equipment.
   • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Coordinate with engineering, production, and maintenance departments to support manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.
   • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align tool room activities with company objectives.
5. Budget and Resource Management:
   • Develop and manage the tool room budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
   • Monitor inventory levels and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
6. Safety and Compliance:
   • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
   • Promote a culture of safety, conducting regular safety training and risk assessments.

Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or TRTC
2. Strong knowledge of tool design, machining processes, CNC /VMC programming, and quality control.
3. Proficiency in CAD/CAM/ MDT & SolidWorks / PRO-E / CATIA V-5 software.
