• Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses
• Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews, and analysis to assess their quality
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfil all customer requests
• Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company
• Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services
• Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keeping
• Material Planning and Procurement through Intercompany and Third-party suppliers
• Managing imports& coordination with other units in foreign territory
• Encourage suppliers for warehousing and warehouse management.
• Designing strategies for inventory & Monitoring inventory levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of engineering specifications and requirements
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with procurement software/tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Certification in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus
